Found: Etsy’s Shop Update feature on the Sell on Etsy app

I received a tip from Etsy the other day. They suggested using their “Shop Updates” feature to give customers a reason to shop again. The problem was that it was hidden and they did not provide any instructions on where to find it.

Thanks to Rachel of Honestly Raw Beauty, I was able to find it. I thought her helpful directions was worth repeating.

First, you’ll need to download the “Sell on Etsy” app for your mobile device. Note that this app is different from the plain ol’ Etsy app. The Shop Update feature does not work on desktop operating systems (Windows/Mac OS).

Once you’ve set up, tap on “More” (the three lines on the bottom right).

Then tap on “Marketing”, then “Social Media”

From there, you should be able to snap some photos and enjoy all the benefits of this nifty feature!

• Updates can be posted directly to your social media accounts.

• Updates are displayed on the home screen of everyone who favorited your shop, favorited your items, or purchased from you.

• Updates are directly linked to your listings.
